Julia Roberts designs t-shirt

Mon, 1 Sep 2008 10:27

Julia Roberts has teamed up with Giorgio Armani to design a printed t-shirt to raise money for Aids projects.

The printed t-shirt which will be sold as part of the ongoing RED campaign features a tree drawn by the Hollywood actress.

As well as raising money to combat Aids, proceeds from sales of the promotional t-shirts will go towards the fight against tuberculosis and malaria, reports Reuters.

This is the second time Roberts has worked with Armani on a promotional project for the RED campaign – created by Bono and Bobby Shriver.

She also created a leather bracelet with Armani, which also featured her tree logo.

The t-shirt will go on sale next month and will be available online and in Emporio Armani stores across the globe.

Bono's RED project was launched in 2006 and has formed partnerships with a number of brands including Gap and American Express.

Promotional t-shirts have been used to raise awareness of the campaign since its launch.
