An owner of a screen printed clothing business in the US has scooped a major prize from his local bank.

John Huffman, who owns and operates Logo's and T-Shirts on North Third Street in Easton, won the $25,000 (£17,234) grand prize in a sweepstakes held by the Sovereign Bank.

Mr Huffman was automatically entered into the competition after he opened a business checking account between July 5th and August 15th.

"I didn't believe I won," he told Leigh Valley Live while picking up his cheque, before adding that "it still hasn't hit me, truthfully".

"I taught myself to screen print," Mr Huffman explained."Then I made screen print equipment."

"I saw a thing for air brushing. Taught myself to air brush," he added. "Now I [have] bought an embroidery machine."

Mr Huffman explained that he now intends to use the money to improve the embroidered clothes side of his business.
