Say Hallelujah with screen printed clothing

Mon, 22 Dec 2008 10:42

Consilium clothing - experts in digitally printed clothing.

Tabloid newspaper the Daily Mirror is offering a new competition which enables people to say Hallelujah with screen printed clothing.

In collaboration with printed clothing company Saltyrockz.com, the newspaper is offering its readers the chance to win one of ten items of screen printed clothing.

The red printed t-shirts have a sun emblem in the middle with a rainbow across and the word Hallelujah in the middle.

In order to win, entrants must post their 'blag' reason as to why they deserve a printed t-shirt instead of someone else.

The competition is also intended to capitalise on the publicity of Alexandra Burke's win on the X-Factor, as her debut single will be the song Hallelujah.

First released by Leonard Cohen in 1984, the song has since been covered 180 times, including versions by Jeff Buckley, John Cale and Rufus Wainwright.

Burke's take on the song has now been confirmed as the Christmas number one single, ahead of Buckley's version in second place.
